Key Responsibilities of the Property Accountant- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for multiple entities and partnerships.
- Manage intercompany transactions, eliminations, and related reconciliations.
- Support month‑end close activities, including journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Assist with budgeting, expense analysis, and financial performance monitoring across properties.
- Support audits, maintain internal controls, and collaborate with leadership on process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1.5–3 years of accounting experience; property or real estate accounting strongly preferred.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems;
Yardi experience strongly preferred.
