Compensation: $90,000 – $95,000
Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid)
Must reside in or be within commuting distance of the Greater Orlando area.
About the OpportunityThis is an opportunity to join a large, growing healthcare organization in a highly visible accounting role focused on net revenue, patient accounts receivable, and financial reporting. The Net Revenue Accountant will work closely with Finance, Reimbursement, Revenue Cycle, and operational teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and reporting across multiple healthcare facilities.

- Prepare monthly net revenue close packages, journal entries, and supporting schedules
- Analyze net revenue trends, patient accounts receivable activity, and key financial variances
- Maintain reserve models, including contractual allowances and bad debt reserves
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accurate reporting of net patient revenue and AR balances
- Support monthly forecasting and annual budgeting activities related to revenue and receivables
- Partner with Revenue Cycle and Finance teams to improve reporting accuracy and financial performance
- Prepare audit work papers and support internal and external audit requests
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency
- Assist with ad hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Healthcare accounting or hospital net revenue experience strongly preferred
- Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting required
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual-based accounting
- Experience with patient accounts receivable, revenue recognition, or reimbursement accounting highly preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- CPA preferred but not required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
