We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Tax Senior Associate to join our Accounting + Finance team. This position is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual to leverage their skills in corporate tax, W‑9, W‑8, Partner transfers, Risk Analysis, property tax filings, Ad hoc regulatory filings, investor packages, Asset Management, real estate tax, 1120s, 1031 Exchange, Tax Planning, S Corp, Income Tax, Tax Accounting, CPA, partnership tax experience, and real estate.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in public accounting and be comfortable with multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of corporate tax, real estate tax, and partnership tax.
- Prepare and review W‑9, W‑8, 1120s, and other tax forms.
- Lead and execute partner transfers, risk analysis, property tax filings, ad hoc regulatory filings, and investor packages.
- Provide expert advice on 1031 exchanges, tax planning, S Corp, income tax, and tax accounting.
- Manage and optimize assets to ensure maximum return on investment.
- Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
- Stay abreast of changes in tax regulations and legislation to ensure the company is fully compliant and takes advantage of any relevant tax benefits.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members and foster a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA certification is required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate tax, real estate tax, and partnership tax.
- Proven experience in preparing and reviewing W‑9, W‑8, 1120s, and other tax forms.
- Solid understanding of partner transfers, risk analysis, property tax filings, ad hoc regulatory filings, and investor packages.
- Proficiency in asset management and tax planning.
- Strong experience with 1031 exchanges, S Corp, income tax, and tax accounting.
- Exceptional multi‑tasking abilities and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding and knowledge of current tax laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
