As a Fixed Assets Specialist, you'll gain valuable experience in capitalization, depreciation, construction accounting, and asset lifecycle management. The Fixed Assets Specialist works closely with both Accounting and Operations teams, providing visibility across multiple business functions while supporting a portfolio of established locations and ongoing development projects.

• Review, process, and record fixed assets associated with existing restaurant locations, remodels, and capital improvement projects as the Fixed Assets Specialist
• Apply capitalization policies and fixed asset guidelines while reviewing invoices, construction documentation, and project expenditures as the Fixed Assets Specialist
• Maintain fixed asset records, process asset retirements, and ensure accurate asset classification as the Fixed Assets Specialist
• Review, repair, and maintenance expenses monthly to identify capitalization opportunities and support compliance with accounting policies as the Fixed Assets Specialist
• Prepare depreciation accruals, journal entries, supporting schedules, and documentation to ensure accurate month-end reporting as the Fixed Assets Specialist

• 3+ years of accounting experience or 1+ year of analytical accounting, reconciliations, or fixed asset accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas and VLOOKUPs; experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems preferred
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, and balance sheet/income statement relationships

• Exposure to fixed assets, capital projects, and construction accounting
