Job Description & How to Apply Below
About the Role
This is the senior accounting seat for the entire Orlando group. You will own the books across every center and the parent holding company, bring order and real-time visibility to a multi-entity operation, and become the financial right hand to ownership as we open new locations and execute on an aggressive growth plan. If you want to build the finance function rather than inherit one, this is your seat.
Responsibilities- Multi-entity accounting across all centers and the parent holding company, including intercompany eliminations and a clean, on-time monthly and annual close.
- Financial reporting: consolidated and by-center financial statements, with variance analysis and the operating KPIs that drive decisions (revenue per center, membership growth, cost of care, EBITDA by location).
- Revenue accounting for a cash-pay model, including deferred revenue and proper recognition on memberships, prepaid packages, and service plans.
- Cash and treasury: cash management, banking relationships, AR/AP, and treasury across entities, with weekly cash positioning and forecasting.
- Payroll oversight: payroll processing and provider/staff compensation accruals in partnership with operations and HR.
- Controls: design and enforce internal controls, approval workflows, and segregation of duties appropriate to a multi-location business.
- Budgeting and FP&A: own the annual budget and rolling forecast, and partner with leadership on unit economics for new-center openings and expansion.
- Tax and audit coordination: manage the relationship with outside CPA/tax advisors, coordinate year-end and tax filings, and keep the company audit-ready.
- Systems: own the accounting stack (Quick Books Online today), drive automation, and improve the close and reporting process as we scale.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager capacity.
- Hands‑on multi‑entity experience is required. You have closed the books for more than one legal entity and handled intercompany and consolidations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA strongly preferred.
- Deep Quick Books Online proficiency; comfort selecting and implementing finance tooling as we grow.
- Strong command of GAAP, deferred revenue, and accrual accounting.
- You are hands‑on. You will build the schedules, not just review them, and you thrive in a founder‑led, high‑tempo environment.
- Experience in multi‑location healthcare, wellness, medical spa, franchise, and/or Med office
- Familiarity with cash‑pay / membership revenue models and per‑location P&L management.
- Exposure to M&A, new‑unit openings, or a company scaling from a handful of locations into many.
