Key Responsibilities of the Collections Specialist- Manage assigned accounts and conduct collection activities through phone, email, and written correspondence as the Collections Specialist
- Partner with Accounts Receivable, Sales, and leadership teams to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve delinquent accounts as the Collections Specialist
- Document all collection activity, payment agreements, client communications, and account updates as the Collections Specialist
- Release credit holds and restore account access upon receipt of payment while maintaining accurate account records as the Collections Specialist
- Research discrepancies, resolve payment issues, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the collections process as the Collections Specialist
- 2+ years of collections, accounts receivable, or credit and collections experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to maintain accurate records and reporting
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills with excellent attention to detail
- Base salary plus commission opportunity
