Staff Accountant

Lighthouse Search is partnering with a growing, private equity-backed organization in the Orlando area to hire a Staff Accountant. This is a strong opportunity for an accounting professional looking to join a fast-paced business with continued growth and exposure across the accounting function.

The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting while working closely with the broader finance and accounting team.

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Support preparation of monthly financial statements and management reporting
• Assist with fixed assets, accruals, prepaids, and other balance sheet accounts
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
  
  Support audit requests and documentation
• Assist with process improvements and accounting initiatives as the company continues to scale
• Partner with operational teams as needed to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Experience working within an ERP environment
• Net Suite experience is highly preferred
• Manufacturing, distribution, or other inventory-based industry experience is a plus
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growing environment
