Job DescriptionCompletes and reconciles monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax reconciliations accurately and timely. Researches and resolves variances by auditing payroll transactions and reports. Analyzes tax and wage data to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Prepares and submits federal and state tax returns and payments. Responds to payroll tax notices and resolves discrepancies. Prepares business registrations and ensures compliance with local tax requirements.
Completes manual tax, deductions, and earnings adjustments accurately. Gathers payroll or finance data to analyze transactions and identify specific problems using root cause analysis. Engages in customer service activities by responding to employee inquiries related to payroll taxes. Builds positive relationships within the team and across support, shared services, and facility regional accounting teams. Represents payroll tax while fostering collaborative solutions.
Performs other duties or projects as assigned to ensure smooth operation of the department. Other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) [Required]
- Proficiency in Payroll Tax and Multi‑State Taxation [Required]
- Experience in Microsoft Access [Required]
- Proficiency in People Soft HCM and FSC [Preferred]
- Familiarity with shared services business concepts, practices, and procedures [Preferred]
- Bachelor's [Required]
- in Accounting, Finance, or other business‑related field
- 3+ years of tax accounting experience [Required]

Physical Requirements -
Pay Range$45,196.93 - $84,071.39
