Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our team in the Construction division. This is a permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to our financial growth and success. The Senior Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in our accounting and finance team, driving our financial strategy and operational support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial management, real estate development, and construction.
Responsibilities
Leading the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards.Acting as a senior reviewer, validating the integrity of financial reports and statements.Leading the annual budget process, coordinating with various departments to compile, analyze, and present financial data.Providing valuable insights into our financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to enhance profitability.Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial and operational performance.Offering operational support and strategic advice to various departments, including operations, asset management, HR, Legal, IT.Driving continuous improvement of accounting processes, systems, workflows, and documentation to increase efficiency and effectiveness.Partnering with operations, asset management, HR, Legal, IT to ensure alignment of financial and operational goals.Using your knowledge of real estate development and construction to inform financial decision-making and strategic planning.Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the construction or real estate development industry.Proven experience in leading month-end close processes, annual budgeting, and financial review.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.Demonstrated ability to provide insights into financial performance and develop effective KPIs.Experience in driving continuous improvement of accounting processes, systems, workflows, and documentation.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to partner with various departments and stakeholders.Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in clear, concise terms.Proficiency in using accounting software and other financial management tools.We are looking for a candidate who is not only skilled in accounting and financial management, but also has a strategic mindset, a collaborative spirit, and a drive for continuous improvement.
