Senior Supervisor, Accounting Services

Conduent State & Local Solutions, Inc. seeks a Senior Supervisor, Accounting Services to lead a team delivering high-volume accounting operations for state and local government programs. In this role, you will oversee transaction processing, reconciliations, reporting, and internal controls, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness. Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting services operations for government client programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Supervise and coach a team of accounting specialists, set priorities, monitor workload, and conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee transaction processing, reconciliations, and reporting for high-volume state and local government accounts.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, issues, and process improvement opportunities; implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, IT, client management) to support new initiatives and resolve escalations.
• Maintain internal controls, audit readiness, and documentation to meet client, corporate, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and review periodic financial, operational, and KPI reports for internal leadership and government clients.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis and recommendations to improve efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement using data and metrics to enhance accuracy, cycle times, and service quality.
• Participate in client meetings, respond to inquiries, and represent the accounting function in governance or project forums.
