Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant

Prepare and post journal entries, maintain general ledger integrity, and support month-end close activities as the Staff Accountant
Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve reconciling items as the Staff Accountant
Analyze financial results, research variances, and provide supporting explanations to accounting leadership as the Staff Accountant
Assist with financial reporting, audit support, budgeting activities, and special accounting projects as the Staff Accountant
Partner with internal stakeholders to provide accounting support during reporting cycles, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives as the Staff Accountant

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
3–5 years of accounting experience with strong general ledger and month-end close exposure
Experience with journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel required
