Senior Accountant

Compensation: $90,000 – $105,000
Location: Remote

Big 4 public accounting experience and CPA required.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Analyze general ledger activity and investigate financial variances
• Assist with preparation and review of financial statements and management reporting
• Ensure accounting activities comply with U.S. GAAP and established internal controls
• Partner with internal and external audit teams and prepare requested audit documentation
• Research accounting issues and assist with technical accounting matters as needed
• Work cross-functionally with Finance and operational teams to resolve accounting and reporting matters
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency
• Support special projects and other strategic accounting initiatives within a large corporate environment

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• CPA required
• Big 4 public accounting experience required
• 2+ years of progressive public accounting experience with demonstrated tenure and progression
• Senior-level Big 4 audit experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience working with large, complex clients or publicly traded organizations preferred
• Strong foundation in financial statement analysis, reconciliations, and accounting research
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with sophisticated accounting systems
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
