Key Responsibilities for the Grant Accountant:Manage accounting activities for assigned state and federal grants. Review and approve grant-related expenditures and procurement transactions. Perform budget-to-actual analysis and prepare financial reports. Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities. Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and posting issues.
Qualifications for the Grant Accountant:Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred;
Finance degree considered with strong accounting experience. Grant accounting experience beyond accounts payable-focused responsibilities. Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas. Full-cycle accounting experience required.
