As an Accounting Specialist, you'll gain hands-on exposure to lease accounting, landlord relations, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and general ledger activities. The Accounting Specialist will work alongside experienced accounting professionals, support a large real estate portfolio, and develop highly marketable accounting skills.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist- Process monthly landlord payments and ensure lease obligations are paid accurately and on time as the Accounting Specialist
- Review and reconcile Common Area Maintenance (CAM) charges, research discrepancies, and coordinate resolutions as the Accounting Specialist.
- Communicate directly with landlords and internal departments regarding payments, lease questions, and account issues as the Accounting Specialist
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting as the Accounting Specialist
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, maintain lease documentation, and support special projects as the Accounting Specialist.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; high school diploma required
- 3+ years of accounting experience, including reconciliations, invoice processing, journal entries, or general ledger support
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs;
Oracle, Discoverer, or similar ERP experience preferred
- Structured training and mentorship from experienced accounting professionals
- Exposure to lease accounting, CAM reconciliations, landlord relations, and financial reporting
