We are partnering with a rapidly growing professional services organization seeking an experienced Controller to lead and elevate its accounting and finance function.
The organization has experienced significant growth and is looking for a strong leader who can bring greater structure, accountability, automation, and scalability to the finance organization while partnering closely with executive leadership.
What You’ll Do- Lead the day-to-day accounting and finance function
- Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance
- Manage cash flow, banking, treasury, billing, and collections
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
- Strengthen internal controls, processes, and accountability
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes
- Evaluate accounting systems and support future system conversions
- Improve reporting and provide meaningful financial insights to leadership
- Partner closely with the CFO and senior leadership as the organization continues to grow
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7–10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Strong GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close experience
- Proven accounting leadership and team-development experience
- Strong banking, treasury, cash-management, billing, and collections exposure
- Experience improving processes and implementing stronger controls
- Quick Books experience
- ERP/system conversion or implementation experience
- Strong executive presence with a collaborative, servant-leadership approach
- Professional services experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus
