Parts Warranty AdministratorReports to: Warehouse Manager
FLSA Status: Non‑Exempt
The Parts Warranty Administrator is responsible for providing support to the Parts Warranty and Warehouse operations. This position requires a self‑motivated team player who can be an active part of our team and seeks remedies to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities- Verify and validate incoming warranty requests from all divisions.
- Maintain an active log of warranty activity, including all correspondence with the customer and/or manufacturer using Zendesk software.
- Administer collection and return of all manufacturer‑required defective components.
- Administer inventory items used for warranty purposes and ensure proper stock replacement practices are utilized.
- Monitor pending credits due from the manufacturer.
- Oversee billable warranty charges.
- File electronic warranty claims with the manufacturer.
- Exhibit strong organizational and customer service skills.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and follow‑through skills.
- Exhibit strong decision‑making and critical‑thinking skills.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Maintain an ethical relationship between the end‑customer and the manufacturer to ensure both parties’ interests are protected.
- Associate Degree in Business or two (2) years of related administrative experience.
- Strong computer skills in MS 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Warranty experience preferred.
Other required skills include ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; effective presentation of information in one‑on‑one and small group situations; and basic mathematical and reasoning abilities as described in our internal competency framework.
Will be required to work in an office and warehouse environment. Physical demands include operating a computer keyboard and telephone, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
