Overview
VHB's Orlando, Florida office is looking for a Receptionist to provide a variety of services within the office.
Hiring Salary Range - $19/hr.
- $23/hr however, the final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, and experience.
- Greet visitors and make a positive first impression of VHB. Direct visitors through the check-in process. Inform employees of the visitor's arrival. Assist and direct visitors to appropriate meeting location.
- Answer and transfer phone calls. Relay messages as needed.
- Operate office equipment (e.g., telephone, computer, copier). Forward messages to appropriate employee or department.
- Schedule conference rooms and arrange for meeting room use.
- Assist with building management and facilities tasks, which may include organizing and cleaning office space, managing kitchen and breakroom inventory, office supply procurement, and other office services.
- Accept and track packages and other deliveries to the office.
- Process and distribute mail.
- Assist facilities and administrative staff as needed.
- Maintain messages and visitor records.
- Perform occasional administrative duties (e.g., data entry, filing, photocopying).
- Participate in professional and personal development aligned with career goals.
- Assist with new employee preparation and onboarding.
- Provide administrative support to office personnel.
- May assist project managers, department managers, and/or other senior management with various administrative duties.
- May coordinate and manage travel arrangements for senior leaders.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service abilities with an emphasis on timely response.
- Team oriented with ability to perform multiple tasks independently in a timely manner and collaborate effectively and positively with coworkers.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented.
- 0-2 years of related experience in a professional office setting.
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM in office.
- Licensed Notary preferred, but not required
