Position OverviewThe Receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role is pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation of the front office and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities Of The Receptionist- Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/email.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Order front office supplies and maintain inventory of stock.
- Update calendars and schedule meetings.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing.
- Assist in coordinating and organizing company events and meetings.
- Support other administrative staff with various tasks as needed.
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hands‑on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers).
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong multitasking and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Customer service‑oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- High school diploma required.
