Job Title: EHS Document Coordinator
Location: Bath, Pennsylvania
Type: Contract
Schedule: M-F 7am - 3:30 pm
Pay Range: $20-23/hour
Industrial Manufacturing Company is seeking a Document Coordinator to support administrative duties relating to environmental compliance for permits, regulatory requirements and special projects for the site.
Responsibilities- Support Environmental staff activities in the monitoring and auditing of the Cement Plant, Quarry, Resource Recovery Department and related facilities to ensure compliance with Federal and State environmental permits and regulations.
- Assist in the distribution and access to program documents, including plans, procedures, and associated records.
- Review and maintain production, maintenance, and instrumentation documentation in an organized and accessible manner for multiple environmental programs.
- Maintain specified records for the management of alternative fuels, i.e., hazardous waste-derived fuel (HWF), including:
Incoming and outgoing HW manifests, Data acquisition system (DAS) reports, i.e., “minute-by-minute” reporting, and Module 1 Application recordkeeping, including: new applications, annual recertifications, and associated approval records in support of Resource Recovery Dept activities. - Work with department staff in the preparation of compliance program documents, procedures, postings and training information.
- Maintain employee training record listings for required environmental training. Coordinate scheduling and maintain recordkeeping for visible emissions (VE) certifications as required for Supervisors/Lead staff.
- Assist in the mailing of government agency responses and requests for information.
- Cooperate with all external inspectors, providing copies of records and access to requested files as appropriate.
- Receptionist / general office duties, including:
Answer telephone, greet visitors, maintain office supply inventory. Purchasing record keeping/ SAP system data entry in support of environmental. Provide backup to other facility functions as determined appropriately based on availability and need.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Established organization skills and document management capabilities.
- Demonstrated organizational capabilities; able to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate activities to successfully interact in a team environment as well as independently.
- Computer literate – moderate level of knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. General knowledge of SAP or willingness to learn SAP to enter purchase order requisitions, receive goods, and process invoices.
- PREFERRED Knowledge of the cement industry facility operations and/or environmental programs (particularly RCRA and Title V operating permit activities) desired but not required.
