Job Description- Organizes and updates Emergency Room call schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Manages shift assignments, handles requests for changes, and addresses scheduling conflicts.
- Collaborates with various departments to implement system-wide changes impacting the Medical Staff.
- Communicates changes, provides training, and ensures compliance with new policies or procedures.
- Schedules meetings, prepares reports, and facilitates communication between departments for the Campus Chief of Staff and Chief Medical Officer. Assists with strategic planning and decision-making processes to improve patient care and operational efficiency. Other duties as assigned.
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with diverse populations, individually or as a team member, both in verbal and written communications [Required]
- Excellent computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases, using programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc. [Required]
- Maintain confidentiality, use discretion, and adhere to all corporate, legal, and regulatory guidelines, i.e. HIPAA [Required]
- Self‑motivated, with flexibility to multitask and prioritize in a stressful, fast‑paced environment [Required]
- Resolve issues with minimal direction or guidance, as well as work independently and as a team member [Required]
- Bachelor's [Required]
- Business, Office Administration, or Health Services Administration
- 4+ years’ experience in a healthcare environment as an administrative or executive assistant, secretary, or other higher level administrative/office support role [Required]
- Event planning/coordination experience [Preferred]
- Experience in meeting management and minutes recording [Preferred]
- Experience with credentialing software [Preferred]
- Medical staff services office experience or other healthcare environment [Preferred]
OR 4 years' of related experience
Additional Information- Bachelor's degree in Business, Office Administration, or Health Services Administration
- Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) [Preferred]
Physical Requirements -
Pay Range$26.29 - $48.91
