Job Description
- Provides clerical and administrative support to all project team members including: organizing and maintaining project records, files, and correspondence.
- Copies project documentation as requested.
- Coordinates meeting schedules.
- Serves as a liaison between human resources and project team members by supporting the new hire process and processing required paperwork.
- Assists with craft hiring, ensuring all walk‑in applications are reviewed, documented for interviews, or logged for Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
- Prepares and schedules office activities such as travel arrangements, business meetings, and appointments.
- Works with the project management team to resolve issues that arise with projects or clients.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Seven (7) years of related experience.
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required, with the frequency of travel contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and essential functions of the position, which may vary based on workload and project demands.
- Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
An appropriate and valid driver's license is required.
Amount of Travel Required20%.
Skills and Abilities- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent ability to interact with all levels of staff and vendors.
- Ability to work with many people simultaneously and to process a large volume of requests.
- Excellent personal computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.

In addition, during employment individuals may be required by CDM Smith or a CDM Smith client to successfully complete additional background checks, including motor vehicle record as well as drug testing.
