Description We are looking for a dependable and personable Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming office environment, staying organized, and handling a variety of administrative tasks with accuracy. The role offers a part-time schedule of 15 to 25 hours per week across three days, making it a strong fit for someone who thrives in a flexible, team-focused setting.

Responsibilities:

- Welcome visitors and provide front-desk support to ensure the office runs smoothly each day.

- Answer incoming phone calls courteously, direct inquiries appropriately, and relay messages in a timely manner.

- Maintain office supply inventory, place orders as needed, and keep shared work areas organized.

- Assist with check handling activities, including processing and preparing deposits with close attention to detail.

- Perform data entry and general administrative support tasks to help maintain accurate office records.

- Support routine clerical duties such as filing, document organization, and basic correspondence.

- Contribute to a positive office atmosphere by interacting with staff and visitors in a friendly and helpful manner. Requirements - Previous experience in an administrative, receptionist, or office support role.

- Ability to manage inbound calls clearly and effectively with a variety of contacts.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

- Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records.

- Familiarity with office administrative processes, including supply coordination and general clerical support.

- Ability to assist with check processing and deposit-related tasks accurately and responsibly.
