The Receptionist 1 receives and correctly routes incoming and outgoing telephone calls and accommodates visitors to attend to all callers/visitors promptly. The Receptionist 1 performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically work on routine and patterned assignments.

Location

Center Well Senior Primary Care office located at 737 S Semoran Blvd., Orlando, FL 32807.

Reporting to

Manager, Clinic/Center Administration.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintain long distance call logs.
  • Take and distribute accurate messages.
  • Greet visitors and determine the nature of their visit, issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs.
  • Alert appropriate parties of visitor arrival or direct visitors to appropriate office, department or employee.
  • Respond to routine inquiries from internal or external sources such as location, hours of operation, phone numbers, and email address.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages.
  • Limit decisions to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and work under close guidance and within established guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year or more of experience working in a Healthcare setting preferred; candidates with Customer Service background in Retail Hospitality or Call Centers will be considered.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Team player.
  • Patient-facing role that runs the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program; candidates will be required to screen for TB.
Other Qualifications
  • Experience with value‑based care model.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Scheduled Weekly Hours

40 hours per week.

Pay Range

$38,000 - $45,800 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
