Starting Salary: $1,491.85 Bi-weekly. (In accordance with current spending restriction, an internal promotion in the position will be filled at the minimum of the pay grade or up to 5% of the employee’s current rate, whichever is higher.)
Responsibilities- Prepare, compose, and track all correspondence.
- Research and assemble data, and assist Circuit staff with questions regarding established policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Perform other administrative paperwork.
- Organize, maintain, and update hard copy and electronic files of all project‑related activities and personnel records.
- Provide routine administrative support, including receiving and properly routing incoming mail, handling outgoing correspondence, maintaining office supplies, and photocopying.
- Maintain calendars and make meeting or travel arrangements.
- Coordinate procurement of commodities and services in Ariba On Demand (AOD), review purchases for compliance with Florida Statutes and DJJ rules and policies, and ensure invoices are submitted with the proper documentation.
- Assist with employees’ travel expenditures and process invoices, requisitions, and purchasing card charges.

- At least 1–3 years of administrative, secretarial or clerical experience.
- Experience with the People First System for Human Resource related functions such as Personnel Actions and Timekeeper responsibilities.
- Experience with purchasing and procurement, processing purchase orders, receiving reports, and State Purchasing Card system.
- Valid driver’s license.

When identified on a position description, a valid driver’s license is required. If initially hired with an out‑of‑state license, the Florida resident must obtain a valid Florida state driver’s license within 30 days of hire. Licenses suspended or revoked for any reason, work permits (Business purpose/Employment/education only licenses) and some types of restricted licenses are not acceptable. Licenses with correct lenses restriction are acceptable, provided the driver wears corrective lenses while operating the vehicle.
