The 4
Roots Foundation Intern provides hands-on administrative and operational support across multiple departments while gaining meaningful experience in nonprofit operations, organizational administration, philanthropy, and community impact. Working alongside experienced team members, this position offers the opportunity to support a variety of departmental initiatives, assist with administrative projects, improve organizational processes, and contribute to the mission of 4
Roots.
- Provide administrative support to multiple departments across the organization.
- Assist with organizing files, forms, records, and departmental documentation.
- Help maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems.
- Support day-to-day office operations and administrative initiatives.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining databases, spreadsheets, and organizational records.
- Perform data entry and help ensure information is accurate and up to date.
- Support departments with recordkeeping and document management.
- Help improve organization and administrative processes.
- Assist with special projects and administrative initiatives across various departments.
- Help prepare materials, reports, presentations, and other resources.
- Participate in team meetings and provide administrative support as assigned.
- Support organizational priorities and cross-functional projects throughout the Foundation.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
- Current college student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Human Resources, Communications, Public Administration, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
- Previous administrative, office, customer service, volunteer, or nonprofit experience.
- Experience organizing files, records, or databases.
- Interest in nonprofit operations, community engagement, or business administration.
Work is primarily performed in an office enviormenr with occassional work throughout the 4
Roots Farm Campus. This position requires sitting, standing, walking, computer-based computer-based work, and regular collaboration with tean members across multiple departments. As a cross-functional internship, responsibilities and work locations may vary based on departmental needs and organizational priorities. Interns may occassionally assist with organizational events or special projects, including some evening or weekend hours as needed.
