Position Overview:
We are a privately owned, growth-oriented dental office seeking an experienced, motivated, and personable Lead Patient Coordinator to become a key part of our team. This is more than a traditional scheduling position. We are looking for someone who takes pride in creating an exceptional patient experience while helping keep the office productive, organized, and thriving every day.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, confident in communicating with patients, and understands the importance of maintaining a productive schedule, supporting treatment acceptance, and helping the practice continue to grow. Leadership experience and accountability are highly valued in this role.
- Provide a welcoming, professional, and positive experience for every patient
- Manage and maintain a productive daily schedule with a focus on efficiency and patient flow
- Proactively fill open schedule time and minimize gaps and cancellations
- Follow up on unscheduled, overdue, or incomplete treatment
- Verify insurance benefits and communicate coverage clearly and accurately to patients
- Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements confidently and professionally
- Collect co-pays, balances, and treatment payments
- Track pending treatment and help patients stay on schedule with recommended care
- Support front office workflow and contribute to overall office organization and efficiency
- Help drive office growth through strong communication, accountability, and follow-through
- Previous dental office experience required
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with Eaglesoft preferred
- Strong understanding of dental insurance verification and billing processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities
- Confident discussing treatment and financial responsibilities with patients
- Self-motivated, dependable, and solution-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proactive and dependable
- Able to take ownership of responsibilities without constant supervision
- Strong communicator with patients and team members
- Organized and efficient under pressure

Schedule:Full-time position. Office hours Monday thru Thursday 8-5 PM and Friday 8-3PM
