Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time remote role for a Senior Sales Manager. The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new revenue growth by developing and implementing new business sales strategies and initiatives. Day‑to‑day tasks include engaging with potential clients, actively managing the sales pipeline, and building relationships with key airports, airlines, business aviation, and other adjacent stakeholders in the aviation industry.
The role also involves conducting market and competitive analysis, preparing proposals, and collaborating with internal technology and product leadership teams to align solutions with client needs. The Senior Sales Manager will also play a pivotal role in working with the Customer Relationship Management Team in identifying and securing new business opportunities with existing clients.
- 3–8 years in sales or business development, with a proven track record of exceeding individual and team quotas
- Strong prospect account management and relationship‑building skills with the ability to engage decision‑makers
- Proven experience in selling SaaS and data services delivery models
- Knowledge of commercial aviation (airports, airlines, and adjacent markets) operational, technical, and financial use cases, is highly preferred
- Design and execute hunter‑style sales strategies; manage the top‑of‑funnel pipeline; identify, qualify, and close new opportunities
- Strategic analysis capability, including market research and competitive analysis
- Experience in preparing proposals, presentations, and handling negotiations
- Focuses primarily on revenue generation through the acquisition of new clients and portfolio expansion opportunities with existing clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for both internal and client interactions
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments to align solutions with client needs
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
- Proficiency in CRM tools, sales software, and business productivity software
- Ability to travel up to 50%
