The HOA Community Compliance Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring that all properties within the community comply with established rules, regulations, and aesthetic standards. The HOA Community Compliance Inspector’s responsibilities will include conducting inspections, documenting findings, and communicating with homeowners to address violations and ensure adherence to community guidelines.
Job Duties- Conduct regular inspections of residential properties to assess compliance with HOA rules and regulations.
- Document inspection findings accurately and thoroughly, including photographs and detailed notes.
- Identify violations of HOA covenants, conditions, and restrictions (CC&R) related to property maintenance, landscaping, architectural guidelines, and other applicable standards.
- Communicate inspection results to homeowners and provide guidance on corrective actions required to remedy violations.
- Work closely with the HOA board, property management, and legal counsel as needed to enforce compliance and resolve disputes.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, violations, and correspondence with homeowners.
- Respond promptly to homeowner inquiries and concerns regarding HOA guidelines and enforcement.
- Monitor ongoing maintenance and improvement projects to ensure they meet HOA standards and specifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in property management, real estate, or related fields preferred.
- Experience in property inspections, homeowners’ association management, or related roles preferred.
- Strong understanding of HOA governing documents, CC&Rs, and applicable laws and regulations preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with homeowners, board members, and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using technology for documentation and communication purposes.
