Job SummaryThompson Gray is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Support Specialist to support our Army customer. The selected candidate will analyze and improve operational processes, identify areas of inefficiency, and help implement effective solutions to enhance organizational performance. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work closely with both technical and management teams to support operations. The individual should have strong analytical skills with experience in information management, proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
The candidate will have familiarization with ETMS2 and will demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate complex information insights to stakeholders at all levels of the program.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to operational performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership based on operational data and analysis.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize processes and workflows.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of operational policies and procedures and recommend changes as needed.
- Assist in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring timelines, resources, and goals are aligned with organizational objectives.
- Provide support in analyzing financial, logistical, and performance data to guide decision-making processes.
- Utilize analytical tools and methodologies to identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Ensure operational activities are aligned with PEO STRI's mission, goals, and compliance requirements.
- Full time (40 Hours per week)
- 10+ years of experience in operations analysis, process improvement, or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, statistical methods, and operational modeling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in briefing, preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for senior management is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working in a DoD or government environment.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
