Downtown Orlando, FL Why This Opportunity Stands Out

This Procurement Manager role is a newly created position within a mission-driven nonprofit organization with statewide impact. The organization is investing in building a stronger, more sophisticated procurement and contract administration function, and this Procurement Manager will have true ownership in shaping how procurement supports grant-funded and community programs.

What makes this Procurement Manager opportunity compelling:

  • High-visibility role partnering directly with Finance, Legal, and Program leadership

  • Meaningful mission impact supporting federally funded and community-focused initiatives

  • Strong benefits package and long-term stability within a nonprofit environment

  • Opportunity to build processes, templates, and standards from the ground up

  • Collaborative, values-driven culture focused on service, accountability, and integrity

This role is ideal for a Procurement Manager who wants purpose, ownership, and professional influence—not just transactional purchasing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own procurement and contract administration activities, including solicitations, evaluations, negotiations, and vendor selection

  • Ensure compliance with federal procurement regulations, including Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200), state requirements, and internal policies

  • Manage the full contract lifecycle, including amendments, renewals, monitoring, documentation, and close-out

  • Partner with finance and grants teams to align procurement activity with budgets, grant terms, and audit requirements

  • Develop procurement tools, procedures, training materials, and internal guidance for organization-wide use

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field

  • 5+ years of federal procurement and contract administration experience, including Uniform Guidance compliance

  • Proven experience managing contracts, documentation, audits, and cross-functional stakeholders
