Office Administrator/ Coordinator
The objective of this position is to drive option sales by consulting with home buyers, providing outstanding customer service, and interpreting customers’ design aesthetic into a tailored design.
Essential Job Functions- Schedule design appointments and maintain studio calendar
- Respond to and manage email inquiries
- Prepare and organize appointment folders
- Order and maintain office and studio supplies
- Organize and maintain product samples
- Build and maintain strong customer rapport
- Maintain business professional and business casual attire appropriate for high-end studio clientele
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent communication (listening, verbal, and written) skills.
- Strong organizational skills, including planning, scheduling, and follow up capabilities.
- Fundamental mathematic comprehension required.
- Aptitude to quickly acquire required industry software/systems proficiency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Minimum of Associate Degree in Interior Design, construction, or Business
- Minimum of four years of experience as an administrative assistant or related position.
- Proficiency in Oracle, JD Edwards, and/or People Soft a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Adobe Professional Software.
- The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to operate a computer keyboard and/or tablet.
- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
- Lift and move tile, wood samples, counter top samples, and cabinet samples throughout the showroom.
