Cardinal Equipment Services is looking for a Field Service Technician I, Reactive based out of our Orlando location. We’re currently looking for 8:30AM to 5:30PM, working Monday through Friday with flexibility based on business needs.
Job SummaryThe Field Service Technician I - Reactive will provide support to the Cardinal Equipment Service Department performing essential mechanical duties and department functions. This role will be responsible for a wide variety of assignments associated with – but not limited to beverage, vending, and ice equipment troubleshooting and repair. Additional responsibilities include parts and equipment accountability, resource management, customer relations, job site surveys and working closely with customers and co‑workers.
KeyDuties and Responsibilities
- Beverage Fountain, Draft Beer, Vending and Ice Maker Equipment Install, Removal, Troubleshooting and Repair
- Parts and Equipment Accountability
- Maintain positive customer and co‑worker relationships
- Record and account for billable time, parts and services related to work assignments
- Position requires flexibility to work various shifts
- Comply with all Company/DOT vehicle policies. Smith‑System, Geotab, Lytx (Dashcams), etc.
- Adhere to company policies, guidelines, and safety requirements
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- EPA Certification is required
- Ability to troubleshoot and determine what kind of maintenance is needed
- Repair equipment using the needed tools
- Basic computer skills
- Use of basic hand tools, electric and battery drills, and saws
- Ability to use a lift cart and ladder
- High school diploma or GED required
- Soft drink, ice maker or draught beer mechanical service preferred
- Basic plumbing and electrical experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Valid Drivers’ license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines
- Heavy lifting, bending, climbing, and stretching
- EPA roles
Customer accounts – restaurants, convenience stores, offices, etc.

Job Title:National Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager identifies and targets new business adjacent to beverage cooling and dispensing equipment mainly (but not exclusively) in the Food Service/HORECA channels. This role identifies and develops new customer relationships, builds strategic partnerships, and creates proposals to secure new accounts. Also identifies and develops new business with OEM in this sector. The Business Development Manager plays a critical role in expanding the CES footprint in new markets.
KeyDuties and Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify new leads in food service and related industries
- Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations
- Negotiate contracts and close new business deals alongside Sales Director
- Follows up on production progress, identifies issues, works closely with team to communicate transparently with customers.
- Ensures new customers are properly “on boarded, have pricing clarity, etc.”
- Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, distributors, and service networks
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to develop lead generation strategies
- Track and report on pipeline progress and market trends
- Attend trade shows and industry events to generate leads and present CES to prospective customers
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Strong sales growth (Hunter) mindset and negotiation skills
- Ability to work constructively in multifunctional teams on new projects
- Strong internal and external communication skills
- Relationship selling is important but a strong analytical/numeric component is necessary.
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities
- Ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities/ Lateral Thinking
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Min. 5 years of experience in business development or sales with a proven track record of securing new business
- Experience in food service operations industry or similar preferred

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
