Position: Coordinator, Costume Fabrication Warehouse (Seasonal/Temporary Assignment)

JOB SUMMARY

Warehouse Coordinator is primarily responsible for managing the operations that are critical to the development of large multi‑faceted themed events. They ensure the elements are completed in accordance with established policies and procedures. This includes oversight of all the related project functions, including but not limited to support in costume presets, documentation of inventory, and warehouse management.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides work direction to Costume Warehouse Leads and Attendants. Responsible for updating schedules, call‑ins, and daily timecard flashes for warehouse team members in Kronos. Communicates with management regarding staffing needs. Monitors compliance of current company and department policies and procedures, scheduling compliance courses as needed. Communicates performance, behavior standards, and expectations; provides feedback for recognition and performance improvement to management. Upholds warehouse standard procedures which include but are not limited to non‑disclosure form adherence to all new visitors to the warehouse.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all marquee, special event, and park costume presets leaving the warehouse are complete with all necessary pieces and of show quality for fittings and operations. This includes guiding and checking presets completed by leads, attendants, and specialists, and communicating any issues to management. Oversees warehouse strike and restocking of costumes after events close.
  • Responsible for costume warehouse inventory, including tracking, maintaining and recording stock locations, quantity and quality. Maintains and updates necessary reports, tracking and documentation for the needs or replacements at the warehouse. Aids in the receiving of new inventory and costume pieces via tracking spreadsheet. Completes costume releases documenting goods and quantities of goods sent for park and event operations.
  • Organize the training of new and current warehouse team members. Ensure trainer is identified and that training is being delivered per Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Driving all types of vehicles, including but not limited to Mini‑Vans, Cargo Vans, 15 passenger vans and Box Trucks.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
  • High school degree or GED is required.
  • Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school or Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
  • 1+ Years:
    Previous coordinator or lead experience. Strong administrative skills; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License is required.
  • Ability to drive box truck up to 16 ft. in length required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Coordinator’s job responsibility may include, but not limited to:

  • Presetting, Maintaining, and tracking event needs.
  • Maintaining and adhering to event budgets.
  • Contacting vendors on updates and deliveries.
  • Contacting fabric and buyout vendors for availability and pricing.
  • Maintain and organize project images.
  • Creating and maintaining project/events spreadsheets.
  • Maintain and organize fabrics and findings library.
  • Assist in developing and presenting wardrobe presentations.
