Thompson Gray is seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Acquisition/Contract Analyst to join our team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of federal contracting regulations, policies, and procedures, with a sharp focus on compliance and effective contract management. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to deliver efficient, compliant, and timely contracting support across the full acquisition lifecycle—from planning through contract closeout.

- Assist with the planning, development, and execution of contracts in support of federal acquisition programs.
- Ensure all contracts fully comply with federal regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
- Review and analyze acquisition documents for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
- Support contract negotiations, modifications, and amendments as needed.
- Track and monitor contract deliverables, timelines, and performance to ensure all obligations are met.
- Provide expert guidance to project teams and stakeholders on contracting processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with contracting officers, program managers, and legal teams to resolve contract‑related issues.
- Maintain accurate contract files and documentation in accordance with government requirements.
- Assist with contract closeout procedures, verifying that all obligations are satisfied and proper documentation is complete.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 10+ years of experience in federal acquisition and contract management, with deep knowledge of FAR and DFARS.
- Solid understanding of federal contracting fundamentals, including solicitation, award, contract types, and administration.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or other federal agencies in contracting.
- Familiarity with procurement systems such as the System for Award Management (SAM) and Procurement Desktop‑Defense (PD²).
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly GFEBS.
- Professional certification in federal contracting (e.g., DAWIA or FAC‑C).
