Senior Lead Logistician – W-TRS Orlando, Florida

The Senior Lead Logistician will support the Warfighter‑Training Readiness Solutions (W‑TRS) Program, a $3.5 B global enterprise enabled by assured logistics, based in Orlando, Florida.
Job DescriptionThe Senior Lead Logistician reports directly to the V2X W‑TRS Program Manager and leads the management and control of program‑wide assets (Government and Contractor Property). Responsibilities include maintaining processes, systems, procedures, records, and methodologies for effective and efficient control of over 350 global locations, a central warehouse, and global distribution of parts and supplies.
The position requires U.S. citizenship, proof of citizenship, a current U.S. passport, and an active Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities- Manage and control program-wide assets, initiating and maintaining processes and procedures for accountability of government and company property.
- Perform all aspects of administrative and technical property administration and coordinate with teammates across training platforms (receiving, inspection, inventory scheduling, movement, hand receipts, storage management, cataloging, property utilization).
- Assist with maintaining property accountability records, determining condition, and arranging disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment using PCARSS.
- Provide oversight of W‑TRS fleet management activities.
- Lead internal assessments, audits of inventory, and oversight of government property loss investigations; coordinate property disposition with the AAS Property Administrator.
- Manage LTDDs via the DLA‑PIEE e‑tools website and arrange disposal of damaged or obsolete material per FAR policy.
- Maintain databases of purchase orders/receiving, return to vendor, export/import, inventory, LTDD, PCARSS, movement of property, DD1149 and DD250.
- Coordinate and assist with management of inventory schedules for all property and materiel, including sub‑contractor inventory.
- Ensure accuracy of procurement, property classification, and FAR data fields in MAXIMO.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate movement of materials and equipment to support logistics needs, including customs and property pickup at central receiving points.
- Participate in government close‑out joint inventories as required.
- Advise on government regulations/FAR pertaining to property accountability; develop, recommend, and implement policy.
- Maintain accurate supply records in MAXIMO and monitor return‑to‑vendor documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
- 10 years of direct experience performing U.S. Government Property Management.
- Five years managing sustainment operations across tactical, operational, and strategic formations.
- Five years developing, acquiring, fielding, sustaining, and safely disposing materiel across domestic and foreign technologies.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Familiar with ITAR requirements.
- Working knowledge of Maximo asset management software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document organization.
- Excellent personal communications and office skills.
- Compliance with OSHA and V2X Safety policies.
- Experience managing DoD property as a contractor or federal employee in multiple locations, both CONUS and OCONUS.
- Previous experience with MAXIMO and NPMA certification as CPPS, CPPA, or CPPM.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Other Requirements- Must possess or be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Must possess a U.S. passport with at least two years of remaining validity.
- Work capabilities: walk or stand on level or inclined surfaces up to eight hours per day, sit up to three hours per day; climb/descend stairs; grasp or handle objects; use finger dexterity; bend elbows/knees; reach above/below shoulders; read/interpret typewritten print; communicate by voice; detect sound by ear.
Candidate must comply with all theater command policies, regulations, and General Orders.
