Job Summary

The Strategy Orchestration Intern at Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX) supports cross-functional planning, coordination, and execution efforts that help align project goals, timelines, and strategic initiatives across teams. This role assists with research, data analysis, meeting facilitation, and process improvement while gaining exposure to large-scale entertainment and experience development projects. Through collaboration with leadership teams, the intern develops an understanding of strategic planning and organizational alignment within a dynamic themed entertainment environment.

Learning goals for this internship include developing strong strategic thinking and communication skills, gaining experience in project coordination and stakeholder management, improving analytical and problem-solving abilities, and learning how cross-functional teams collaborate to deliver complex projects. The intern will also build professional skills in presentation development, workflow organization, and adapting to fast-paced environments.

Major Responsibilities
  • Support strategic planning and orchestration efforts across multiple teams and projects.
  • Assist with coordinating meetings, tracking action items, and maintaining project timelines.
  • Conduct research, gather data, and help prepare reports and presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including creative, operations, technology, marketing and financial management teams.
  • Help identify process improvements and opportunities to increase team efficiency and alignment.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation, schedules, and communication materials.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, workshops, and team strategy discussions.
  • Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders as needed.
  • Assist with preparing executive summaries and presentation materials for leadership reviews.
  • Support special projects and operational initiatives as assigned.
  • Develop an understanding of themed entertainment project development and strategic execution processes.
  • Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and strong communication in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Self‑motivated with initiative and attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration, critical thinking, and strategic execution skills.
  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an accredited institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
  • A transcript is required upon application.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge
  • Preferred majors include Strategy, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with presentations, research, and data analysis preferred.
  • Interest in themed entertainment, business strategy, and strategic planning.
Important Notes
  • This internship will be an in‑person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2027.
  • Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
  • All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
