A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Business Excellence and Change Management Lead, your day centers on driving transformation across the North America Gas Services business by turning strategy into practical execution. You lead cross‑functional initiatives to streamline operations, reduce inefficiencies, and standardize ways of working, while ensuring changes are clearly understood, adopted, and sustained. Working closely with business leaders, you design and implement structured change efforts, including stakeholder alignment, communication planning, and adoption strategies that help teams navigate and embrace new processes.
You also support targeted, fast‑paced improvement efforts to diagnose and enhance underperforming areas. Collaborating across functions such as Service Operations, Project Management, Procurement, Sales, Finance, Quality, EHS, and Business Operations, you translate transformation priorities into measurable results while solving complex problems and influencing across a matrixed organization.
- Lead business transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, cost performance, and customer experience
- Drive the people side of change by developing and executing structured change management plans; design and execute communication strategies that build awareness, understanding, and engagement across stakeholder groups
- Partner with leaders to align on transformation priorities, clarify roles, and maintain momentum through change
- Support teams through the full change lifecycle, including readiness, implementation, and reinforcement of new behaviors; identify and address resistance by understanding stakeholder concerns and proactively managing risks to adoption
- Facilitate process mapping and improvement workshops to identify gaps, simplify workflows, and improve execution; lead short cycle improvement engagements to stabilize and improve specific business processes
- Embed new ways of working into daily operations through governance, performance tracking, and leadership routines; translate business strategy into clear priorities, actions, and measurable outcomes; use data and insights to track progress, measure impact, and communicate results to leadership; identify opportunities to use digital tools, automation, and data to support better decision making and operational performance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Technology Management, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in process improvement, business excellence, transformation, operational excellence, procurement transformation, or change management within large, technical, or matrixed organizations
- Proven experience leading change management efforts, including transformation planning, stakeholder engagement, communications, digital adoption, and implementation support
- Strong experience in process mapping, end-to-end process redesign, and identifying improvement opportunities across complex cross‑functional processes
- Experience supporting or leading Procurement transformation, cost governance, or cost control tower initiatives, with advanced Lean / Six Sigma expertise (Black Belt preferred) and a track record of measurable impact
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder influence skills, with experience working across senior leaders, functional teams, and highly matrixed organizations
- Proficiency in analytics and enterprise tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SAP, Salesforce, Snowflake, SharePoint) with experience driving digital adoption and leveraging AI/automation responsibly
