Job Description
The Airside Planning Manager is responsible for leading complex airport planning and infrastructure initiatives that support long‑term operational growth, capacity planning, and strategic development objectives. This role manages planning projects from initial concept through implementation, conducting technical analyses, evaluating future infrastructure needs, and developing recommendations that align with operational requirements, regulatory standards, and organizational goals. The position works closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, airlines, and regulatory agencies to ensure planning efforts are coordinated, data‑driven, and aligned with broader business priorities.
In addition, the Airside Planning Manager provides subject matter expertise on airside operations, airport development, and capital improvement initiatives while supporting project planning, resource allocation, and budget management activities. The role is responsible for assessing emerging industry trends and technologies, preparing planning studies and reports, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and helping drive informed decision‑making for future infrastructure investments. Success in this position requires strong project management, collaboration, analytical, and communication skills to balance operational demands with long‑term strategic planning objectives.

- Bachelor's degree in aviation management, planning or related degree
- 3‑5 years of experience in aviation planning
- Knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars
- Strong stakeholder manager skills
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft suite Avi Plan
- ALP/Master Plan - airport layout plans
