Aeronautical Systems Engineer

Support the Tactical Range Management Center (TRMC) within the Joint Marine Expeditionary Team Command (JMETC) Requirements group. Lead engineering oversight, platform data integration, data analysis, and integration of Service Operational Test and Training Infrastructure (OTTI‑C) with TRMC capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as TRMC range liaison, monitoring and reporting range activities at Point Mugu Naval Air Station.

  • Communicate activity status to leadership, coordinate delivery priorities, and provide input for process improvement.
  • Work primarily at NAS Point Mugu, CA, with possible travel for system and event requirements.
  • Maintain TS/SCI clearance and support SAP data as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Mathematics.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in aerospace, flight test, and data management.
  • Experience identifying and communicating best practices across an organization.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of 4th and 5th Generation aircraft flight test and data management.
  • Experience working with OUSW (R&E) and TRMC.
  • Knowledge of TRMC investment and project management processes.
  • Military or Naval acquisition program knowledge.
  • Project and performance management experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of at least one of the following areas:
    • Open Air Battle Shaping (OABS)
    • Testing and Training
    • Strategic Relations
    • Joint Testing and Training
    • Test Event Operation, Planning and Analysis
    • Test and Training Infrastructure
    • DoD Programs and Acquisition process
    • Enterprise Software Development
    • Weapons and Warfighting Integration
Compensation

$175,000 – $215,000 annually (California only). Salary will be based on selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and experience.
