Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Associate to join our team. This role is critical in supporting the full trade lifecycle, ensuring accurate NAV preparation, and liaising with brokers and custodians. The ideal candidate will be proactive, process-driven, and eager to contribute to the development of scalable operational systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Trade Lifecycle Management:
  Oversee trade capture, settlement, reconciliation, and post-trade processes across multiple asset classes.
• NAV Preparation:
  Assist in the calculation and validation of Net Asset Value, working closely with fund administrators and internal teams.
• Broker Liaison:
  Serve as a key point of contact with brokers and custodians to ensure smooth trade execution and resolution of discrepancies.
• Process Improvement:
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and enhance operational workflows, systems, and controls.
• Support Deal Flow:
  Manage operational aspects of increased deal activity, ensuring timely and accurate execution and reporting.
• Documentation & Compliance:
  Maintain accurate records and support compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in hedge fund operations, fund administration, or a similar financial services role.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle and financial instruments, particularly convertible notes and bank offerings.
• Experience with NAV calculations and fund accounting.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with portfolio management systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Eze, Advent).
