Senior Specialist, POD Lead; AML

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Specialist, POD Lead (AML) to join our Managed Services practice.

• Lead a POD of specialists and analysts within the Managed Services environment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of AML-related tasks in alignment with engagement SLAs and KPIs
• Supervise and coach POD members providing guidance and support, reviewing work for quality and completeness, providing actionable and documented feedback, and resolving policy and procedural queries
• Oversee AML operational delivery including transaction monitoring, alert reviews, and case investigations, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and client expectations
• Develop and maintain SOPs and user guides to support consistent AML delivery practices across PODs
• Collaborate with internal leadership and client stakeholders to identify and mitigate delivery risks, elevate issues, and implement corrective actions
• Prepare and present status reports to clients and Lead Specialists, highlighting POD performance, AML metrics, and operational insights; act with agility to support engagement-specific requirements, ad-hoc client requests, or procedural shifts as deemed necessary by project leadership to ensure seamless service delivery
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment

• Minimum three years of recent experience supporting client engagements in an operational or delivery capacity; minimum three years of experience supervising or managing delivery teams
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Demonstrated expertise in AML operations, including transaction monitoring, alert handling, and case management
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead teams in a target-driven environment
• Excellent verbal/written communication, presentation, and analytical skills
• Willingness and ability to travel as required
