Job Tasks/Duties- Assist with set‑up and decoration of all events
- Assist in creating the schedule for Nona Crew Counselor
- Responsible for proper execution of Nona Crew events when manager not present
- Assist the Youth Activities manager in filing, scanning and documenting all necessary reports of the operation.
- Greets members and guests in a professional friendly way
- Ensure knowledge of all safety and first aid protocol procedures
- Ensures knowledge of company policies and procedures as it refers to Nona Crew department
- Supervises children when in our care and adheres to all rules regarding our younger members
- Assist parents when signing their children in and out, including checking identification when necessary
- Handles proper care of all materials for events and stores them after
- Ensures knowledge of all children, allergies, special needs, and staff during events while in our care
- Communicates with and informs Youth Activities Manager of any unforeseen circumstances and reacts appropriately
- Moves furniture when necessary i.e.:
Kid tables and chairs - Maintains confidentiality as it relates to our member’s family information
- Perform routine safety checks of areas for events before we begin
- Attends all department staff meetings and trainings
- Signs for vendor deliveries on an as needed basis
- Performs routine office tasks copying, calculating, etc.
- Engages each child during activity time
- Assist with all other duties as needed or directed by senior management
- 1-2 years of Child Care experience
- High School education or equivalent required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be willing to get CPR certified early into employment
- Knowledge of office equipment
- A friendly outgoing demeanor is a plus
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- This position includes (long periods of) balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling and repetitive motions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work in hot conditions for long periods of time.
- Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined above.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
