Position:
Superintendent – Underground Utilities Overview
We are seeking a Superintendent with a strong background in underground utility construction, specifically water, sewer, and pressure pipe installations. This individual will lead field operations, manage crews and subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day field operations for underground utility projects
- Manage installation of water mains, sanitary sewer, storm systems, and force mains
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers
- Maintain project schedules and drive production
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Review plans, specs, and blueprints to proactively solve field issues
- Track quantities, productivity, and quality control
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in underground utilities
- Strong knowledge of water, sewer, storm, and pressure pipe systems
- Ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- OSHA knowledge and commitment to jobsite safety
