Senior Electrical Estimator- (Preconstruction Leader). Join a growing electrical and general construction company with operations in Florida and Puerto Rico, where you will play a key role in shaping which projects we pursue and how we win them.
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator who wants more than just preparing bids — someone who wants to influence strategy, drive preconstruction decisions, and help scale a high-growth organization.
Responsibilities- Lead preconstruction and estimating strategy for commercial electrical and general construction projects
- Evaluate and select bid opportunities alongside leadership
- Develop conceptual, schematic, and final estimates
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals
- Drive value engineering initiatives to improve project competitiveness
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Collaborate closely with project management to ensure successful project handoff
- Direct exposure to company leadership and decision-making
- Opportunity to shape the estimating department as the company grows
- Mix of electrical and general construction projects
- Regional impact across Florida
- A role with real ownership, not just execution
- 7–10+ years in electrical estimating (commercial preferred)
- Experience in preconstruction and bid strategy
- Familiarity with tools like Accubid and On-Screen Takeoff (preferred, not required)
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and trade coordination
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
- Experience in general construction estimating
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
