Commercial Construction Superintendent
Location: Orlando, FL (Travel Project in Charlotte County)
A growing Commercial General Contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee a $50M ground‑up development in Charlotte County, Florida, comprising 20 villas, parking, and a restaurant. This company has built a strong reputation for quality work, employee growth, and maintaining a positive team culture.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial construction experience and be comfortable managing projects independently with minimal supervision. High‑end restaurant, hospitality, renovation, and commercial project experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities- Manage day‑to‑day field operations
- Coordinate subcontractors and jobsite schedules
- Maintain project quality, safety, and schedule performance
- Conduct inspections and oversee project sequencing
- Communicate with Project Managers, owners, and subcontractors
- Ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently
- 5–10+ years of Commercial Construction Superintendent experience
- Strong commercial construction background required
- Experience with restaurant, hospitality, retail, or mixed‑use projects preferred
- Experience managing high‑end interior finishes is a plus
- Ability to lead subcontractors and maintain schedules
- Strong field leadership and problem‑solving skills
- OSHA knowledge and safety experience required
- Ability to travel for projects if needed
