Job Description & How to Apply Below
Why Resi Pro? We believe that high-volume renovation doesn't have to mean compromising on quality. Resi Pro provides the technology and the framework to help our Project Managers succeed, allowing you to focus on what matters: clear communication, solid craftsmanship, and project completion. If you're looking for a professional, stable, and tech-forward environment to apply your construction expertise, we'd love to meet you.
BENEFITS:
Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off, 401k Matching, Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance, Wellness Initiatives, Short-Term Disability, Employee Assistance Program, and More
Position Purpose:
Resi Pro is seeking a high-energy, field-centric Project Manager to drive our specialized residential renovation model in Orlando and Central Florida. This role is built for a professional who excels at both the front-end technical inspection of a home and the backend execution of project managing residential renovations. You will be the face of Resi Pro in the field, ensuring every home is scoped accurately and each home's rehab is delivered to our rigorous quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Tech-Enabled Inspections & Scoping
- Conduct the initial property evaluation process in Orlando and Central Florida using our tech to build comprehensive scopes of work in real-time.
- Coordinate and schedule inspections, representing the company with professionalism and transparency.
- Identify and document all repair needs, ensuring the initial scope accounts for both visible defects and the secondary work required to complete those repairs correctly.
- Flag all high-cost, high-liability, and "deal-killer" items during the inspection to ensure the property meets strict acquisition criteria.
- Ensure all structural, mechanical, and safety concerns are captured accurately to prevent budget overruns and timeline delays once the rehab begin
- Direct and oversee residential renovations, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Schedule and manage subcontractors to execute specific line items dictated in the scope, ensuring all work is completed to Resi Pro's standards.
- Perform consistent site visits to verify work progress and ensure subcontractors meet expectations for quality, correct material usage, and adherence to project specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and that necessary permits and documentation are monitored throughout the construction process.
- Perform a comprehensive final walk-through on every property to ensure the home meets all internal quality and safety standards prior to completion.
- Verify that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are fully functional and that all finish work meets company expectations for craftsmanship.
- Document the final condition of the property to ensure it is move-in ready and prepared for a successful resale or inspection.
- Ensure the property is clean, well-lit, and fully prepared for market presentation
- 2-6 years of experience in residential construction management, home inspections, or high-volume scattered-site rehabs.
- Strong "Multi-Trade" Knowledge:
You understand how a change in one area impacts another. - Solid understanding of local building codes and common inspection requirements.
- Excellent communication skills for managing local subcontractor relationships and working with the Resi Pro team.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation for daily travel in the Orlando/Central Florida Market.
- Field-First Mindset:
You thrive being on-site rather than behind a desk. You are a self-starter who manages your own schedule across the market to keep projects moving. - Detail & Process Oriented:
You have a "keen eye" for identifying defects or safety concerns early and possess an organized approach to driving multiple projects to completion. - "Player-Coach" Approach:
You don't mind getting your hands dirty when necessary. Whether it's helping a vendor understand a specific installation requirement or jumping in to touch up paint or spread mulch to cross the finish line, you do what it takes to get the job done right. - Tech-Savvy:
You are comfortable using mobile apps, inspection technology, and cloud-based project management software to document work and communicate in real-time.
