Traveling Superintendent

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent for a direct hire opportunity with a construction management organization specializing in hotel renovation projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction leader who has proven hotel renovation experience and enjoys managing fast-paced projects across multiple locations.

The Traveling Superintendent will oversee site operations from start to completion, coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring high-quality renovation work that meets project specifications. This position offers the flexibility to live anywhere in the United States, with travel required to project sites on the East Coast and West Coast. Candidates must have hotel renovation experience to be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily field operations for hotel renovation construction projects from mobilization through completion.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and internal project teams to keep work moving according to schedule.
- Monitor project quality, site safety, building code compliance, and adherence to project drawings and specifications.
- Manage project schedules, track progress, address delays, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Support budget and resource management by coordinating materials, equipment, labor, and subcontractor needs.
- Lead and motivate field teams while resolving site issues, conflicts, and construction challenges in a timely manner.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $75,000 to $90,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.
