Construction Foreman
This is for night shift ONLY!
We recruit highly skilled individuals for a variety of disciplines in the construction field. Qualified applicants will have experience working on Heavy Civil, Roadway or Bridge Projects.
Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Must work with the General Superintendent to ensure schedule is met.
Complete supervision and responsibility for the job site field operations, including daily maintenance of all roadways within the work area.
Jobsites are kept in a safe condition for Contractors, Subcontractors, and the traveling public, whether on foot or by vehicle.
Maintain accurate reporting records, including job quantities, time sheets, and daily management reports.
Install and Maintain Permanent MOT Devices per Plan and Spec.
Install, maintain, and remove Temporary Lane Closures, Diversions, Detours, and Flagging operations.
Oversee and Supervise Subcontractors whose operations impact roadway safety and traffic flow.
OtherUnderstand and comply with all Company Safety policies and procedures as well as OSHA Regulations.
Assists with loading and unloading trucks & deliveries.

This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Work EnvironmentThis is a field-based role. Employees will be working on heavy civil and highway construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
Physical DemandsThe position lifts heavy objects, walks, and stands for long periods of time and performs physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects and uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination. The employee must have excellent stamina.
PositionType/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This position will occasionally require long hours and weekend work. Average +/-50 hours per week.
TravelThe role requires no travel.
RequiredEducation and Experience
3-5 years of construction foreman experience.
Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment.
PreferredEducation and Experience
Construction industry experience preferred.
Takes full ownership of assigned projects and can work independently.
Additional Eligibility RequirementsMust possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver's license before employment.
