Thisrolemayalsoassistothercrewmemberswiththeinstallationandrepairofalltypesofaccesscontrolpoint(ACP) equipmentthroughoutthe

United

States.

The Construction Specialistwillperformawidevarietyofconstructiontaskssuchas :equipment operation;forming,placing,andfinishingconcrete;tyingreinforcingbarforconcretefoundations;layout,installation,andrepairofsecurityfencingandgates;demolition/excavation;andothertaskswithintheircompetencyasdirected.

The Construction Specialistwillworkunderthedirectionofa Superintendentor Foremanwhowillprovideadailyworkplan ,deliversafetybriefs,andprovideon-the-jobtrainingtoexpandthesuccessfulcandidate’sskillsandexperience.

• The Construction Specialistmustbeabletosafelyaccomplishconstructiontradeworkinoutdoorconditionsinaccordancewithadailyworkplan .
• Executeconstructiontaskswithavarietyofcommonhandtools,toincludeeshovels,picks,screwdrivers,wrenches,saws,drills,andprybars.
• Experiencesafelyoperatingavarietyofpoweredequipment,toincludeaskidsteer,shootingboomforklift,trencher,concrete saw,andmini-excavatorisamust.
• Workcooperativelywithother Construction Specialiststoaccomplishthedailyworkplan .
• Withtrainingandexperience,the Construction
  
  Specialistwillsawcutanddemolishexistingconcreteandasphaltpaving,excavate earth,setandbracebarrier/fence equipment,placeandfinishconcrete,assemble gates/fences/barriers.
• Maintainallsafetystandards,includingtheproperuseofpersonalprotectiveequipment.
• Unloadmaterialarrivingtothejobsite.
• Setandremovetrafficcontroldevices,erosioncontroldevices,andtemporaryfenceasrequired.
• Excavate,backfill,grade,andcompactsitestomeetdesigncriteria.
• Conductinspectionsofequipment,tools,andvehiclesbeforeusetoensuresafetyandproperoperationthroughtheuseofestablishedchecklists.
• Cleanandmaintaintools,equipment,vehicles,andmaterialsinaccordancewithmanufacturerrecommendationsandcompanypolicy.
• Drivecompanytruckstoandfromjobsites.

• Minimumthreeyearsofexperienceasaconstructiontradespersonisrequired.
• Mustpossessavaliddriver’slicense.
• Mustbeabletoworkinthe United Stateswithoutsponsorship .
• Mustbeabletopassabackgroundcheckanddrugtesttopermitaccesstomilitaryinstallationsandsimilarcontrolledareas.
• Experienceinoperatingpoweredequipmentispreferred.
• Experienceinstallingavarietyofsecurityfencingandgatesispreferred.
• Experienceplacingandfinishingreinforcedconcreteispreferred.
• Bi-lingual(Spanish) isaplus.

• Abilitytoliftatleast
  50poundstowaistlevel.
• Mustbeabletostoop,kneel,crouch,crawl,andhavefulluseofhands,fingers,andarms.
• Mustbeabletoworkoutdoorsforupto
  60hours/weekinavarietyofweatherconditions
