Work Schedule

The work schedule for this assignment requires overnight shifts from Sunday night to Friday morning. Each shift begins at 8:00 PM and continues through 6:00 AM the following morning, or for the full duration that trades are actively working on site, whichever is later. The Employee is expected to remain on site for the full duration of active trade work each shift.

Any planned absence must be communicated to and approved in advance by the Operations Manager, and the Employee must ensure that adequate coverage is arranged so that Action's subcontractors and trades are never left without on-site representation.

  • Serve as Action's on-site representative; present a professional company image to clients, GC, inspectors and stakeholders.
  • Arrive before subcontractor start times, lead a short daily planning huddle, set priorities and confirm the day's plan.
  • Supervise and lead Action labor and subcontractor crews; provide coaching, performance feedback and, when appropriate, recommendations on hiring/discipline.
  • Monitor and enforce schedule, phasing and manpower assignments; elevate critical path issues to the PM and Director of Operations promptly.
  • Enforce site safety requirements and company safety program; conduct and document weekly toolbox talks and other safety briefings.
  • Authority to stop unsafe work immediately; report incidents, near misses, and safety concerns to PM/Director.
  • Implement and enforce quality control practices: verify elevations, locations and finishes, catch defects before inspections, and manage punch list items.
  • Submit daily electronic reports in Procore (or designated platform) that include manpower counts, hours, work performed, visitors, directives, safety incidents, issues, and a daily photo log (minimum 10–15 photos per workday: overall shots, elevations, and detail shots).
  • Maintain and use company systems for communication (Procore, Outlook, Teams/Whats App) and keep work records organized for audits and closeout.
  • Order and track materials; manage deliveries and inventory to prevent downtime.
  • Arrange and coordinate equipment rentals and maintenance; ensure Action equipment is cared for and returned per policy.
  • Coordinate transportation, site protection (plywood, dust control), housekeeping and site access requirements.
  • Know local building codes, township inspection requirements and permit steps; plan and schedule inspections to maintain the project timeline and advance toward CO (Certificate of Occupancy) where applicable.
  • Coordinate with Owner/GC and inspectors during walk-throughs and punch lists; document outcomes and required follow-ups.
  • Work daily as a partner with the Project Manager, Assistant PM and Director of Operations; provide timely status updates and concise escalation notes.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with Owner/GC teams, inspectors and trade partners; be courteous and professional in all interactions.
  • Use RFIs, change-order documentation and Procore workflows to document site directives and owner requests.
  • Read and interpret contract documents and blueprints; perform construction-related math for layout, elevations and field decisions.
  • Provide recommendations on budget alignment and review project costs with the Project Manager as required.
  • Complete other administrative tasks as assigned (timesheets, vehicle logs, expense receipts).
